Big Rig Friendly is a stretch; big rig capable is more like it. The roads to the park are not made for 40's with tows. The trees to the sites make it hard; keep a look in your mirrors to keep from side swiping them. Staff was great. Park is nice. I won't be back because I was not comfortable with the tight squeezes.

We were here for the 2009 Women's US Open Golf Tournament held at Saucon Valley CC in Bethlehem. We really enjoyed this CG, we met a ton of nice people, camped beside a pro-golfer and got to see a lot of the beautiful scenery around the area. The CG was great for our 40' and our tow vehicle. Some highway noise but not very loud at all. Wonderful and beautiful winery down the road and make sure you go to the meat market down the street and get one of their cherry crumb pies, best I ever had. Fun to watch them train the horses in the field right next door. The staff at the office were great to deal with and very helpful. We would stay here a million more times if in the area again.

This is indeed a park that has seen it's best days . There appears to be no investment in the park by TT corporate. We unhooked the tow, found a place, went back to the RV, drove down to the site and while we were getting ready to back into the site a guy in a golf cart parks his golf cart there and says the site is taken. TT staff said they would make him move but just goes to show you that not all members of TT are decent. We then picked out another site, backed in, hooked up the electric and nothing. Maintenance came and said it was indeed busted. I then moved to another site. The staff was way behind in their mowing also, lots of tall grass which means more insects which were the abundant. This is not a TT park I would recommend. I am sure back in the 80s or 70s this was a swell place to visit. The convenience store which is half on site and half open to the public had an odd smell, I think it too was just old and moldy.

Very nice park, owner has done a lot of nice things with the place. Coming toward the park from the I-26 direction you will need to make a left into the park. If you are towing and have a long footprint make sure you stop in time to get anyone who may be following behind you notice that you will be stopping and turning . Part of your tow will still be in the highway while you wait for oncoming traffic to clear. We used our Camp USA membership to stay at half price, what a great deal. We were in the area to judge the BBQ cook-off ... we would definitely stay here again and again.

We were there as judges for the BBQ Cook off ... the location was very close to the interstate, convenient, but lots of road noise. But the park itself was very nice and clean and well kept, safe and some very nice people working in the office. We had a great time here and would stay here again.

Are some of the buildings "old" looking, yeah, sure, but they are clean inside. Not everything is "new" for some people and just because they are 5-6 years old does not mean they should be torn down and replaced. There is free internet in the big rec room, their is a driving net, there is a trail, there is a lake, this is a quality site and well worth taking the tour and staying free. One of the best things about this CG is the activities that are well attended by the campers. From horseshoes, to pickle ball, to other activities they are all well attended and a lot of fun. If you are looking for a CG with brand new buildings maybe this is not the place for you, if you are looking to have a great time and meet a ton of other campers just like you then this is a great place.

The park is nice, but it definitely needs some rework to manage 40ft RVs with a tow. We were in a pull thru but getting to it was a challenge. The main road going to the sites were narrow but the turns and secondary roads between the campsites were simply small and we had to go into a big hole to get into our site when turning corners. I will not stop here again and instead would try the other campground on the other side of I-75.

I don't think this is a bad place, not as bad as previous reviewers, I think it is the standard along side the interstate KOA ... nothing more, nothing less. We would stop there again on our way to and from Florida. I would not chose it as a base camp to visit Disney, etc, however.

I guess we got there late, the slots we had to choose from were not long enough for pull thrus with a tow and were not very level. In the past this was a pretty solid bet to stop overnight on the way to Florida, but there are a lot of other places to choose from on I-75 so I think we will try another one.

We stayed here under a special Thousand Trails rate so I really don't know what the regular rate is. There are a ton of RV places to stay at in the Kissimmee/Clermont area, all conveniently located to all the Disney attractions. This particular resort is older with a lot of old 5th wheels and trailers that will never ever see the highway again. Lots of rust. There are also a lot of newer RVs in the resort too. The staff was nice but the washing machine/dryer setup is not really setup for someone who is going to be there for a short time as they don't take coin, you have to get a card then load it up with money so when you leave you probably will have a card with money still on it ... that I guess you can't use again unless you come back to the resort. It's probably great for the long term residents though. The sites as in most Florida resorts are pretty level. No bugs that I felt bite ... nice and quiet. Big turnouts for shuffleboard. A very nice 18 hole putt-putt course that was maintained very nicely. You are located on US 192 which has a TON of attractions and eaterys up and down the road. You are about eight miles from Disney. I would stay here again.

A nice park, highly recommended. I would have given a higher rating but was not pleased with the way the internet access was setup and it constantly having you to renew your log on credentials. Other than that, a fine park. I would stay there again.

Second stay there, it was Georgia Hot and humid but we still had a great time, the 40ft 50A sites are not all level, and some of them are pretty tuff to get to with a 40ft RV. Be careful on which one you request. 260 and 261 are solid.

This was our third visit over the last 2 years to this park. The issues I had before, the bad Wi-Fi and the un-level sites has been corrected and this is now a great campground. The hosts were fantastic, the CG is quiet and clean and well maintained. I would highly recommend it.

One word to describe this RV location ... expensive. It was nice, but not nice enough to get 44.00 a night in my opinion (and I had the KOA discount). It's too expensive to use it as an overnight stop and too expensive to stay there while visiting the area. 44.00 and there is no cable TV either.

Another overpriced KOA. It is a beautiful area, but this KOA is just average at best, Check out the Indian Boundary Campground instead of this one if you can get in. The grass needed mowed and the people in the office were average and tried to do well. I always thought that one of the KOA "selling points" was that they always show you to your site ... that did not happen here. Since this KOA is average at best I thought a "5" would suffice. We have stayed at the KOA over in Sweetwater and it is much nicer.

Not the nicest TT campground, for sure, but yet still nice and rustic and quiet, and met some great campers there. Deer were bountfiul and friendly ... coming from Tennessee and seeing the deer in our own backyard and comparing them to these Texas deer ... well let's just say that not EVERYTHING is bigger in Texas. The fawns in Tennessee are bigger than the deer here. But still very nice to have them come up to you when sitting in a chair at your campsite. We enjoyed this campground as members of TT and it meets quite adequately and we would stay here again. I would like to see them increase the number of 50A sites (we only found a 30A available).

Nice little overnight location. Would stay here again when passing through. Staff was very nice, sites were tight but level and clean. Pet walk needs some serious work because inconsiderate guests did not clean up after their dogs.

Very nice KOA, used it as an overnight stop. The small cafe is nice for a great quick dinner after being on the road. Great view of the mountains and check out the ostrich in the fence at the back right of the park. Would stay here again.

Got a great rate through our TTrails membership, 15.00 a night, TTrails does have some slots here, but they were all full. This place is probably very neat in the winter, we were here the end of April when most of the snowbirders had left ... we enjoyed it and someday hope to come back during the winter. Beware of the entrance, 40ft RVs just take it easy and swing hard to come in. Luckily Idaho St is not a very busy street and you should be able to swing very wide coming into the sharp entrance and small gate.

Nice small park, mosty geared to snowbirds, but we found it a nice place to stop for the night. Quiet, and quite frankly, we loved hearing the trains throughout the night, not enough to wake you out of sleep but you could still hear them. We would stay here again and would like to come back and spend more time and investigate the surrounding area someday.

Stayed there with our Thousand Trails/Resorts of Distinction membership. Quite pleased, our site was 40ft and not much more in length, but they do limit their sites to 40ft units. The site leveled out ok, but not all sites I observed were quite as level so we jotted down those that were for our next stay here (when we make reservations). The laundry was nice and clean, the view of the lake from the sites was very nice. We stayed during the week leading up to the RV Rally in Perry and it was very quiet and not very busy, perfect for us.

Nice campground tucked away outside of Chattanooga. Beautiful scenery around your site. Wal-mart and shopping convenient, nice and quiet. I would stay there again. We did not use the park's wifi but from what others staying with our party said it worked well.

Close to a perfect park ... the wifi does not work well in the back area of the campground and they could probably fix this with a few more antennas, other than that, a very nice facility and we are booked for January/February of next year.

Nice stop over if you have to stop in Arkansas ... be careful getting off of the exits from the Interstate and indicate your are getting off WAY ahead of time, the ramp is about 100 ft and straight onto 2way traffic ... why anyone comes to Arkansas is beyond me! The campground was a nice place to rest and spend the night, lots of interstate noise but that does not bother us ... would stay here again!

WiFi worked great and free, staff at office was very nice, we stayed here on our way from TN to San Antonio ... I would stay here again.

Great park, not too close to SA but not too far away, close to Sea World, good room on sites, big rig friendly ... WiFi costs money and is not worth the costs at least it was not at our site so we put out our DirecWay and used it instead. Will stay here again in a heartbeat! We are here for the Alamo Bowl, go PSU.

Wonderful, nice office personnel, Gave us Xmas cookies and candies when we arrived. Informed us about all the great Cajun restaurants including one where most of the patrons were speaking Cajun french. This is truly the heart of Cajun country. The park is nice, clean, quiet, convenient and we would stay here again. I highly recommend this park as an overnighter or a couple day stay.

Great park, however, pick your times you visit this area, the traffic is incredible, seems to always be backed up. No fault of the park but it would be nice if they had a traffic light at their entrance. The WiFi worked as good as any park I have ever been at. They seem to have three antenna's for you to connect to and we were back on the river and had a great signal. Nice clean big park, would go there again if we go back to Gatlinburg area for a vacation.

Basic roadside KOA ... nothing bad to report, nothing great, just a nice clean safe place to park for the night. Truck noise was not bad, all we heard was a tornado coming by ... and felt ... but overall a pleasant stay, I would recommend as a stop over location.

Stayed here for the Penn State - Illinois football game. EXCELLENT park, nice large lots, level, quiet ... nothing could have been better, but gave it a 9 just in case I stay at the PERFECT park, but this one was very close! I would recommend this park to anyone for an extended stay or overnight!

As far as KOA's go this might be the worse I have stayed at, new owners I am sure will turn it around but it is so close to the interstate the only thing missing was feeling the wind as the trucks flew by ... literally as loud as if you were parked on the exit ramp of any interstate. The lots were close, uneven, overall just a park that KOA should not have their name associated with in any way, shape or form. I won't stay here again.

New park. The owners are very accommodating, however I was a bit surprised at the two pieces of paperwork I had to sign for "legal" purposes, I guess they think this protects them totally against liability, but it does not if they are of course neglectful in some way, but aside from that the park is new and is not real easy to get into. The gravel road is going to cause him problems during big rains, hopefully he has plans to blacktop in the future. Once in the park is surrounding by some nice scenery. One writer notes all the rules and then cites keeping a dog on a leash, I have been using RV parks for a lot of years and I have yet to find a RV park that did not have a rule requiring your dogs to be leashed! The pool looked nice and clean, the sites well taken care of, some people don't like the fact that their are not a lot of trees, but as long as it is not a hot summer day I like the fact that I have a clear view of the southern sky for my satellite dish! I would stay here again, we had a wonderful time.

Had a nice time here, not much to the facility, no trees to speak of, which is good and bad, especially during the summer when it is 95 degrees or warmer. But has clear view of the southern sky for satellite reception. The WiFi worked flawlessly except the local ISP appears to have port 25 blocked so sending email out was not possible, you may want to check with your SMTP server and see if an alternative port is open for your outbound email not only for here but for other places you might visit down the road. There is some noise from the highway, but you really can't even hear it in your coach and you get used to it quickly. The meeting room facilities are nice. We live about 10 miles away from this KOA and only stayed there with a group we camp with, but I would recommend it for a weekend or an overnight site. The lack of a pool really brings this down from a 7 to a 6 on my scale, especially in the hot summer days.

There is no swimming pool but there is an area roped off and a beach at the campgound. The park is another one in the line of nice Army Corp of Engineer's CGs, this one is a little more tough to get to than Defeated Creek and Dale Hallow and not as crowded. Very nice lakefront sites, some are pullthroughs, not all sites are 50 A with sewer but you can go to the COE webpage and reserve your site if you need that.

This was like our 4th stay at this campground, not so much because we like it, but because we can visit family in the Atlanta area on the eastern side of the city. It is the most convenient CG for us. The real problem with this CG is; that when people come to visit us at our site, they have to pay $8.00 to get into the park as that is their daily rate to visit. When camping there you get a pass for your own car, but you have to pay the $8.00 to get into the park in your campground. Be careful going into the park, we had about 3 inches on each side of the mirrors navigating the gate. The WiFi appeared to be ok, but we did not use it because it was not free. The park was loaded with kids. If you don't like the sounds of little girls screaming and little boys yelling till about midnight, stay away from the main loop in front of the office, but if you are in a big rig, you might want to put up with the noise and take the nicer, bigger, easier to navigate lots.

Almost every spot here is great. Plenty of spots on the water. We had a buddy spot (although it was not marked as such on the web page) and there was more than enough room for our coach and their unit. It's your standard Army COE camp, very pretty, nice big lots. There is a swimming section marked off in the lake. Almost everyone on the water had a jet ski. Lots of families, lots of kids, but surprisingly very quiet in the evening. They could improve this facility with more sewer and 50 amp sites but 30 amp worked good in our motorhome.

First of all ... WIFI worked like a champ the whole time we were there. We stayed with a group from Good Sam's. This is not the first time we stayed there ... The only issue with this park, and it's always the same, is the noise from the drag strip on Friday and Saturday night (it may be more often but these are the only days we stay there). But they stop around 10 or 11pm. The park was clean, the pool nice, the store has just enough in it and the staff there are very very very nice. Our club stays there once a year and it is convenient to Camping World and Shipps RV ... We always enjoy this CG and it is close to all the Chattanooga sites. To give this a "1" just because the WiFI was not working is a real stretch. You will enjoy this campground.

Another nice Army Corp of Engineer campground ... park is on a peninsula with nice lake all around. The roads are tight around the park and it was tight with our 40 ft RV. The park is wonderful, nice gravel level sites. Quiet. Friendly. We would go back to this campground often, highly recommended.

Wonderful park with BIG sites...just beautiful, the personnel at the gate were wonderful and very helpful and always asked us each time they saw us when we entered or left with our tow vehicle if everything was ok and if we were enjoying ourselves and they were just as nice when we left. There is a great trail to walk and a nice fish hatchery next store. We are already looking forward to our next trip to this ultra nice army corp of engineers park. I recommend it as a great place to spend some serious time.

We recently stayed here to drop off our coach for service. it is not the first time we have stayed there. It is an ok park, it's clean and quiet, we heard no stock car racing nor did we hear any noise of any kind. Camping World is a short walk away. It could use some WiFi. The only real bad thing about the park is the exit back out onto the main highway to get to the interstate. it is a left hand turn and there is no light and plenty of traffic going both ways.

Friendly check-in, nice roads leading to the park. Pleasant spot. The only problem we had was being beside a 5th wheeler who had all his outside spot lights on. The noise from the interstate is easily heard in their pull through slots. We stayed here for the night to attend a BD party in Lascassas, TN

Two words - stay away. Overpriced and not clean and did not appear to be safe although we had no problems. They have a brochure that makes it look great, but it's made up of mobile home parks in a bad part of town. Not close or convenient to anything, not close to the interstate. We were just passing through. Will never stay here again, it is about 14.00 higher than it should be.

There was really nothing to like about this place. They squeeze you in here like no other CG we have ever stayed at, we had to have 3 people move trucks and cars just to pull out when we left. The entrance into the site is seedy and dirty. The KOA staff was like any other KOA staff, friendly and nice. The WiFi does not work at all locations in the park so ask them before they park you.

Plenty to do here, but there are some things about the park that need fixed up. First of all unless you get near the office you are stuck in really tight places to park and turn in. I visit here and keep going back to visit my daughter who lives in the area. I would not make a trip here, unless it was accompanied with something like one of the major festivals (Chili cook-off) or another good reason to go.

We stayed here on a Sunday, the office was not open, the WiFi was not working ... I would stay here again if I was passing through, but there are a bunch of better places if you feel like driving an extra 20 miles or so.

We stayed here when attending the Penn State - Purdue football game (go Lions) ... it had rained pretty well the day before and the standing water was to bad we could not find out sewer hookups and were moved to another site. It was NOT an easy place to find and is basically way off the main road and in a sub-division type setting or at least a neighborhood with houses all around the property. I think this CG served the purpose we had in mind and that was a place to park and attend the game without parking in the public parking lot as a visiting team and dry camping. I think that most of their business is parents visiting their kids going to school there or visiting teams attending a Purdue game.

They say they have 75 sites, I never saw them, 70 of them must be tent sites somewhere. The park needs an overhaul, it was nice and quiet though, probably because there are not a lot of people there. The staff was nice, but they were not always there and the store was shut during the middle of the day and then they did not come back when they said it would be open, and there is NOTHING in the store anyway. I would stay here again in an overnight situation but other than that I don't think it warrants a return.

Nice location, quiet, but tight sites. Also the WiFi is basically worthless unless you take your computer and sit at a picnic table in front of the office.

Small CG with really nice large lots, lots of nice thick grass, very clean.

Stayed here for 6 months. Stay away from the spots near the front at the entrance, the traffic on the street in front of the CG is very loud and lots of sport bikes ride down there at night.

We stayed here for 2 months while our house was being completed. The owners are very nice and helpful. The WiFi was not really dependable and it would go down and up for no reason at all. The park could use about 3 more WiFi antennas as we did not get the signal until we moved closer to the office. Many RV clubs come in and its a great place to make camp if you are going the the Lost Sea Cave, its close to the interstate but you really only hear the traffic when a truck hits the air brakes. We would stay here again.
